I treated bad for my hawaiian culture what i do?
I Hawiian, i born from hilo hawaii, my family move to america when I 10 years old, me 14 right now, I go to High School, in middle school i have problem talking english, Kids make fun of me and say “go back to hawaii and do your hula dance we no want you in america, this is america learn to speak english.”
I go to highschool in a few week, i went to the principal, and principal say to me “Do you understand ENGLISH” i say “No, no. I no speak english” kids in line behind me say “AHAHAH! Hawaii! go and do your hula dance.” when i eat lunch kids tell me “Eww i didnt know hawaiian girls so pretty go and hula dance.” they take my tray dump it on me and laugh.
at P.e. coach say “12 push ups.” i say “what that mean?” Coach say “push up, you new student here?” coach yell at me and say “COPY THEM!” i say “I no know how to do push ups! stpo yelling me, me hawaiian me no english like you.” Coach put me in detention and i get suspended.
What i do? =( i no know english, people no like me =
When i get suspended from school i sit on the bus and kids chew gum, throw it in my hair, people laugh and make fun of me, what i do??? =;( no one like me.

Funny, I used to live in Hilo and was made to feel weird for not speaking “Peigon.”
Most Hawaiians can speak proper English if they chose to.
Hawaii is part of America, not a foriegn country.
I find it hard to believe the teachers are giving you such a hard time.
