Best helicopter tour in Kona?

I am looking to book a helicopter tour for 2 and see prices from 169 to 400… price isn’t my bigest concern – i want the best experience. With a 45 minute tour from Hilo is not 30 minutes of the flight 15 minutes to and 15 minutes back from the volcano? What other locations do helicopters launch from? I know how to use google please dont post a list of providers – i am looking for personal references that can vouch for one provider over another. Thanks!

Parents did one called “Blue something”, and I’d recommend it. They make a video, you can buy for $20.

In my opinion:
We always go with Blue HI whenever out of town guests ask for a referral because:
1) this company has some of the very best choppers in Hawaii — functional wise and maintenance wise
2) their track record is pretty darn impeccable
3) most of their pilots are military trained, which gives you the most flight times, most expertly trained staff
4) Hollywood uses these guys, and hey, they do their research before committing
