Knowing The Signs and Symptoms of Cancer May Mean Early Treatment
Successful treatment of cancer goes hand in hand with early diagnosis. Knowing what your body is like in its normal state will make it easier to discover any possible problems so you can tell your doctor in its earliest stages. There are some changes that will be associated with the beginning of cancer.
Any odd lumps that may appear on your body do need to be reported and knowing your body will help you spot them sooner. Cancerous lumps can often be painless. Lumps are usually nothing to do with cancer but should still be checked to be on the safe side.
Coughing that is persistent or hoarseness and breathlessness can indicate many different types of health problems but there is always the possibility that it could be from lung cancer. To protect yourself it is best to consult your physician if these conditions continue to be a problem for more than two weeks. You should always contact your physician if you have any cancer treatment or lung cancer symptoms.
Stool that changes in color to something that is very red in color, contains blood or is uncommonly dark needs to be checked. Bleeding is a danger symptom and if there is no real reason for it to happen it must be reported to your health care professional. Nose bleeds and bruises can be alarming but are usually not cancer related but it is still best to report them. You should always contact your physician if you have any bladder cancer symptoms.
When moles appear it probably will not be cancer but it is always best to consult with your health care professional. If you are losing weight and do not know why it is best to have a consultation with your health care professional to be sure it is not cancer related. If you have any concerns about something that is happening with your body that is out of the norm, run and don’t walk to your health care professional. The greater chance you will have to correct any problems is to report a problem as soon as it becomes apparent.
