I Picked Up A Few Good Vacation Ideas Recently!
All work and no vacation is not good, even in a recession. I have wondered if you can stay on a tight budget and still get away on a short trip. It seems that there are great travel deals to be found at many of the well-known travel sites if I spend a little time in research.
The choice of travel website should not only include finding the lowest price for car, hotel and air travel, you also want a company with a reputation for arranging a vacation without problems. Then I was thinking about where to go where it’s easy to find good prices on air travel or where I can drive my car. Southern California certainly fits that description.
A lot of vacation ideas are provided at the SoCal Vacation Guru site. At the present time, the site places particular emphasis on Orange County and Los Angeles County, with the stated goal of expanding its attention to San Diego County, San Bernardino County and Riverside County. There is very useful information at the SoCal Vacation Guru on Universal Studios, Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, beaches, shopping dining, hotels and other facets of your vacation.
The SoCal theme parks include Disneyland (with Disney’s California Adventure), Knott’s, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Universal Studios Hollywood, SeaWorld and Legoland. If you love theme parks, it would be tempting to try and fit all seven into a very busy, and perhaps relatively expensive, vacation trip. The slow economy is unfortunate, but there are great deals on hotel reservations to be found if your budget allows for it, with many vacation-oriented businesses really wanting your business.
In slow economic times the theme parks tend to offer more discounts, as to the museums and other activities. The price of gasoline has increased and fluctuated a lot, but for many people in the U.S. a driving trip to Southern California could save money compared with flying to other vacation destinations.
